The German Association of Social Work (DGSA)

The German Association of Social Work (DSGA), founded in 1989, dedicates itself to the advancement of the discipline and the profession of social work and generates a range of activities in research, theory and teaching.  

It supports young academics and is committed to participation in international professional discourse. Likewise, the DGSA accepts the duty of active professional contribution to social-political debates.  

All individuals and legal entities from the areas of teaching, research or practice, who are interested in academic discussion of questions related to social work, are cordially invited to participate in the designing the future of the discipline and profession of social work.
